Continuous wave Doppler

Please sign up for the course before starting the lesson.

Continuous wave Doppler CW transducers must have 2 crystal elements, one for emission and the other for reception of echoes, mounted on a casing. The elements are usually mounted at an angle to each other so that their respective fields of sensitivity overlap The output crystal is fed a sinusoidal voltage of the desired frequency.
